We are a society of all peoples, Masons, and Non-Masons who seek. Who are dedicated to Fostering curiosity, encouraging questions, and cultivating a deeper understanding. Of the moral, spiritual and intellectual self, utilizing introspection and self examination though the study, dialogue and sharing of our collective experiences. This is done in a Socratic discourse intended to be free of judgement or animosity, so each individually create a better version of the self, for the self. Without a forced direction or development other than mutual respect. You are deserving simply because you are. Nothing more is required. Not doctrine. Not dogma. The analysis of it.

Weekly Masonic Reflection Letter: Sep 2nd, 2026.

“Where are all men going, And from whence have they come?
Who has placed them in this world, And why are they here as one?
I will answer: God the Father, Author of Creation’s plan,
Placed His children here in mortal life, To perfect the soul of man.”

Dear Brethren, the gradual education of the mind, the building of conscience and character are indeed, the reasons we are here. It is intended that we get them either in the School of Life or within the School of the Masonic Temple. But progression is not simply the passage from one degree to another. Each stage places new symbols, tools, and questions before us, not as possessions to collect, but as instruments with which to examine what we think, why we act, and what kind of person we are becoming. Initiation opens the work; progression asks whether we have actually begun to labor.

The tools entrusted to us acquire meaning only through use. They teach us to measure our conduct, bring order to our passions, remove prejudice from our judgment, and construct our convictions upon reason, experience, and conscience. The true lesson of a degree is therefore discovered less in remembering its words than in allowing its method to change the way we observe, question, choose, and act.

With each step, the initiate should become not more certain of personal importance, but more conscious of responsibility. What we receive within the initiatic journey should gradually make us freer in thought, more disciplined in conduct, more attentive to others, and more useful in the common work. Progress is not rising above those around us, but learning to build more wisely alongside them in the continuing search for Light.

Fraternally, VM Valdeir.
