Weekly Masonic Reflection Letter: July 22nd, 2026.

“Woe to you, that are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead. On the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
Dear Brethren, Masonry does not merely tell us what virtue is; it places us before experiences that must be examined and understood. Its symbols, journeys, and moments of uncertainty invite reason to question appearances and conscience to judge our conduct. Light is therefore not a reward received once, but a responsibility gradually assumed.

The trials of initiation do not end when the ceremony concludes. They continue whenever pride resists correction, passion overcomes judgment, or comfort excuses inaction. Our task is to revisit what we have experienced, identify what still governs us, and patiently refine ourselves through disciplined choices.

This inner labor must become visible in the world through equality, solidarity, and service. Every person we encounter offers an opportunity to practice dignity, attentive listening, and fraternity without demanding uniformity. The value of our work is measured not by what we witnessed in the Degree ceremony, but by what we become because of it.
