Weekly Masonic Reflection Letter: June 24th, 2026.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness. What does God require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly before Him.”

Dear Brethren, the Grand Architect endowed us with reason, conscience, liberty, and moral law, all essential for our growth and happiness. He knows that through wisdom and righteousness we can create a just and enlightened world. Yet, the earth has too often produced injustice, oppression, bloodshed, and cries of distress. Men have called evil good and called good evil; they celebrate greed as success, pride as strength, and moral confusion as progress. However, they have forgotten that the Grand Architect remains the Sovereign Lord of history, and expects our lives to bear the fruits of righteousness and justice. While individuals or nations reject moral law and produce the bitter fruits of selfishness, corruption, and oppression, we all, eventually reap the consequences of mocking truth, abandoning virtue, and silencing conscience.

To escape our own ruin, we must First, do justice. We are called to act fairly, defend the vulnerable, uphold truth, and stand courageously for what is right within our homes, our Temples, and our communities. A Mason cannot remain indifferent to injustice and still claim fidelity to his commitments. Second, love mercy. We are commanded to show compassion, patience, forgiveness, and kindness toward others, remembering our own imperfections and our constant need for Divine mercy. Brotherly Love is our practical expression of charity toward all mankind. Third, to walk humbly with our God. We are to recognize our dependence upon Divine Providence, put away self-righteousness and pride, and acknowledge that all wisdom, strength, and blessings flow from the Grand Architect. Humility is not weakness; it is the foundation of spiritual strength and true greatness. Prosperity without morality leads to decay, liberty without virtue leads to chaos, and power without humility leads to tyranny. Whenever we disregard God’s values, live selfishly, or seek our own advancement at the expense of others, we corrupt the very purpose for which we were created.

Fraternally yours, The Presidency of the Society of Light.
Signed in Spirit and Truth.
