We are a society of all peoples, Masons, and Non-Masons who seek. Who are dedicated to Fostering curiosity, encouraging questions, and cultivating a deeper understanding. Of the moral, spiritual and intellectual self, utilizing introspection and self examination though the study, dialogue and sharing of our collective experiences. This is done in a Socratic discourse intended to be free of judgement or animosity, so each individually create a better version of the self, for the self. Without a forced direction or development other than mutual respect. You are deserving simply because you are. Nothing more is required. Not doctrine. Not dogma. The analysis of it.

Weekly Masonic Reflection Letter: Sep 16th, 2026.

“faith, hope, and brotherly love, the greatest of these, brotherly love which is defined by action and character.”

Dear Brethren, Masonry invites us to rise above what is merely inherited and to examine, with sincerity, the principles by which we choose to live. Faith, Hope, and Charity call us toward confidence, perseverance, and concern for others; Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity remind us that no moral construction is complete unless it respects conscience, human dignity, and the bonds that as one human family, unite us. Their harmony is found not in uniformity of belief, but in the shared labor of becoming more lucid, more just, and more humane.

Faith without Liberty can become submission, while Liberty without responsibility can become little more than the defense of personal interest; Equality without Brotherly Love may remain theoretical, while Brotherly Love without Equality risks forgetting the dignity of the person before us. Hope gives us the courage to continue the work when transformation is slow, and Fraternity teaches us that improvement is never solely an individual undertaking. Each principle therefore becomes a corrective to our ego, our certainties, and our tendency to place ourselves at the center of everything.

Universalism is not achieved by asking everyone to think alike, but by creating a space where different consciences may labor together without surrendering their integrity. We make these values living when we defend freedom of thought, recognize the equal worth of others, respond to suffering with solidarity, and subject our own convictions to the discipline of reason and conscience. Faith, Hope, Charity, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity then become more than ideals: they become instruments in the continual construction of humanity within ourselves and around us.

Fraternally, VM Valdeir.
